The Carers Place and Ablelink brands set to retire

OnSide: Leading the Way in Support Coordination and the Next Phase of the NDIS

At OnSide we are dedicated to providing exceptional Support Coordination services under the NDIS. We recognise the importance of quality, culture, and scale as we focus on preparing for the next phase of the NDIS. When we consider the broader Live Life Connect Group, including One Good* Day, we are now around 200 permanently employed practitioners supporting around 3,500 participants to achieve truly lifechanging outcomes.

A Seamless Transition for Clients and Team

Recently, we collaborated on the successful transition of teams and clients from Ablelink and The Carers Place to join the Live Life Connect Group alongside existing services OnSide and One Good* Day. These transitions were on an opt-in basis for clients and teams to prioritise choice and control. The collaborative approach allowed us to deliver a seamless experience for those who chose to transition across, ensuring continuity of services and support.

From 1 August we will be retiring the Ablelink and The Carers Place brands and websites and will continue to provide all current services under the OnSide banner. This change allows us to move forward with transparency and unify our services, quality, and culture as we deliver on our commitment to provide the best Support Coordination services under the NDIS.

Our Amazing Team, Leading the Way in Support Coordination

OnSide is proud to be the largest dedicated provider of Support Coordination services under the NDIS, with over seven years of experience and refinement of our model. Throughout this time, we have remained focused solely on Support Coordination, earning recognition for our excellence. Our most recent NDIS Quality and Safeguards Provider Registration renewal audit highlighted four standards as industry best practice, reflecting the dedication and expertise of our team. This included the standard related to Specialist Support Coordination and is something we are incredibly proud to be acknowledged for.

Looking Ahead: Continued Growth and Excellence

As we look to the future, we plan to continue doing what we do best: Support Coordination and Recovery Coaching for NDIS participants. We understand that the NDIS requires high-quality providers with the scale to adapt to reforms, the challenging funding environment, and evolving needs. Our strategy involves continued measured growth, providing safe harbour opportunities for teams and clients from other programs or providers who are exiting, and share our commitment to quality, values, and culture.

What This Means for Our Clients

We have already spoken with our clients about this change. For the people accessing our services, their families and care teams this transition means continuity and enhanced support. Here’s what can be expected:

  • Everything currently in place will continue seamlessly. The only change is the name.
  • Continue to receive the same high-quality support and services you are accustomed to.
  • Benefit from the additional resources and support available through a unified OnSide.

Our Commitment to You

As we move forward, OnSide remains dedicated to delivering the highest standard of Support Coordination. We will continue to focus on what we do better than anyone else, ensuring our clients receive the best possible services. We know Support Coordination and Recovery Coaching services are essential for NDIS participants and the Scheme. We are excited about the future and look forward to being a significant part of the next phase of the NDIS, whatever that may be!

Thank you for your continued trust and support.
